I got frustrated that I couldn't find any decent, simple tip calculator apps that worked the way I wanted, so I made my own using CalcApp.
For bills $10 and over, the total is a palindrome.
For split bills, the per-person total is rounded up to the nearest dollar.
Prolost Tip is a free web app that you can install on your home screen, and even use offline.
