Level Up.

This preset for Adobe After Effects provides detailed control over the classic Levels effect. Levels is an essential too for manipulating color, but it isn’t always intuitive. Prolost Levels allows you to drive Levels with eyedroppers, printer lights, and more. Use it to remove color casts from graphical elements, as well as to do basic corrections to live action footage.

Prolost Levels uses expressions to control the built-in Levels effect, no third-party plug-ins required. Anyone can open a project that uses Prolost Levels, forever.

Featured

Input and Output Color Pickers

Eyedropper artwork or a chip chart and easily map ranges of colors. You can even optionally remap gray as well. A Bypass mode makes it easy to pick your colors from the original, uncorrected source.

RGB or CMY Gain

Most of the time we use Levels, it’s for RGB gain. These sliders work in concert with the Output White picker to give you complete control of this essential correction.

Neutralize It

Override the Output colors with desaturated versions of the input colors. Two clicks on a chip chart and you’ve got perfect color. Or three if you enable Gray.

Offsets, Contrast, and Printer Lights

Log footage loves offsets, but with Levels this requires adjusting Output Black and Output White together. Here, a single picker neutralizes a gray card. Another adds creative color tinting. Or use industry-standard printer lights to correct out color casts. Or do all at once.
